Community Governance Review (CGR)

What is it?

It’s all about better local government for us. The aim of the review is to see whether CCC needs to improve how it engages with the community it serves, and whether it needs to change how local democracy works and alter the way local services are delivered.

You can find answers to some of your basic questions in the “Frequently Asked Questions” section of the Council’s website.

Why does it matter?

Well, because it’s all about better local government for us! A Community Governance Review only happens every 10 or 15 years, so it is a rare opportunity to have your say in how your Council works. An opportunity not to be missed!

CCC have an online questionnaire. It’s short and simple, with plenty of “free text” space for you to have your say. in your own words. Click here to have a look. You can also download a paper copy here.
